What a job in the Set Decorating Department entails.
- How it dovetails into the Art Department and connects to the rest of the crew
- How curiosity plays a big part in accumulating knowledge
- How to research appropriate dressing for the period
- How to break down a script
- How to make a list of props you need to find for each set
- Continuity on reshoots
There will be interesting guest speakers who have worked in, or are currently working in the Art Department.
THIS IS A PRACTICAL COURSE
There will be a practical exercise of planning the dressing of a set which will take us to the hire companies in Park Royal where you can choose your props and finally make a dressing plan.
